Getting The Best Wii Console Deal
The best Wii console deals systems on eBay and other auction sites are still pretty good, and the supply is good. The sales numbers for Nintendo have blown through their projections for 2008, with so much volume it could be difficult again this year at holiday time to find the Nintendo Wii console in stores, and certainly not at any kind of sale price.
With all the great new features out for the Wii - Wii Rock Band, the Wii Fit, WiiWare, and Wii Music coming in November - this is still the system to have. It's worth taking a scan of Wii prices to get an idea of what's out there right now.
Getting a Wii console is super inexpensive right now. the pricing around the Web has been under $150 for basic Wii bundle systems, including the white Wii console and the black Wii console. There are several options to purchase the console with different Nintendo games, such as Mario Kart for Wii, or Wii Sports Resort.
While it's true that there is another Wii console on the horizon, the Wii U, it will likely be priced at a few hundred dollars, more expensive than getting the current Wii. That's why we're recommending, if you've been holding out on getting a Wii due to price, the best price on Wii you're going to see now are likely the current prices. Nintendo will try to get more buyers on board before the new system comes out. But some buyers may want to wait until next year to find out where to get the Wii U. (It's due to be released in 2012, not in time for the Christmas gift season unfortunately.
