Wii Console In Black – Now Available

As most people know, Nintendo has release the popular Wii console in black. It's been a long time coming - there's been a general demand for it,but has Nintendo missed the window? While it waited to release this item, other competing game systems have been available in black for some time, and also have lowered priced to attract buyers. Did Nintendo wait too long?

It's not likely. The fact is, Wii owners who play the Wii console, probably have one or more of the other consoles as well, especially if they are serious players. Finding the right color console hasn't likely been the main reason someone buys this console or that. But if a buyer has been thinking about buying a second system, or needs a replacement, it's certainly nice to have an option to get it in black.

The prices have come down too so that Nintendo has promoted the black Wii console and the white Wii console in bundle packages. The Wii console black best price has been this bundle, at $199, which includes the console, a controller and nunchuck, the Wii MotionPlus accessory, and both Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort, the newest sports game that requires the MotionPlus to guide a player's motion through new games and sports. This game includes activities like jet skiing, swordplay, sky diving, biking and more. Both games are fun, and with this bundle pricing, players can get started right away.

Shopping around online for the black Wii bundle, the prices are similar at the biggest stores, but we're betting you could see some further discounts toward the holidays. It's more likely that new games and features will be released in time for gift buying and people heading off to college pick up a console to take with them. You can also find bundles that include two controllers and nunchucks, but there are just controller bundles with the controller, nunchuck and MotionPlus which can save about $8 over the price for separate pieces. Accessories and games will always have a bit of a savigns when purchased in Wii bundles.

Check out the prices for the black Wii, you can definitely save some cash.

Is The Wii Price Going Lower?

October 30, 2009 · Posted in Wii Bundle, Wii Deals, Wii Fit, wii console · Comment

Nintendo company stock is down as a result of Wii sales that are lower than expected despite that the company lowered the Wii price. Sales are slumping and it sounds like it took the company by surprise.

What would be the reason for slowing Wii sales? Well, market saturation might be one reason. Gamers have a choice between the Wii console, PS3 and Xbox of course. How many serious gamers will go for the Wii?

And relying on non-traditional gamers also has its pitfalls, since many individual buyers might be interested in the Wii Fit for example, but not at that price. Same goes for seniors who are using the Wii for exercise and fun, the price tag might be putting them off, even if it has been lowered somewhat

People are not buying as much as they used to either, cutting costs and expenses, and a game console for folks who aren't die hard gamers might not be high on the must buy list. When the economy is bad, this type of expensive purchase is out of reach for a percentage of the population that normally would be buying

Profits are down, and Nintendo's income is lower as a result, what impact does that have for the buyer? Sales of the PS3 are up too because Sony lowered their prices to compete, so it seems like the competition is wising up too.

Now, buyers are going to be looking for more new games and game titles to take advantage of the new electronics, like the MotionPlus and the Wii Fit balance board. Will there be price cuts for games? Since most are at the $50 mark, lower Wii prices on games as well as consoles would be good for consumers.

The Wii Console is Still Popular

Many serious video gamers and others are now declaring that the Nintendo Wii console system has had its best days, since there is no reason to buy one and that people have all bought already. But not so fast! The Nintendo Wii is nowhere near dead, it's just getting started, with plenty of people considering buying one.

Anyone can have a blast with the Wii. Lots of families are buying this system, since there's something for any age. For example, the Nintendo Wii Fit is a prime example, with its balance board, as it lets players practice yoga, strength training, or start a weight loss program. More games are coming out for the Wii Fit as well, such as EA Sports Active, wit more active challenges for just about any player.

There are plenty of excellent reasons to buy a Wii console. First, it's really simple to get started, plug in a few cables, and set up the remote sensor, and off you go. You can be completely new to gaming and still get it set up right out of the box. It's easy to play even for the smallest kids. Games are available from very easy like Mario Party 8, for young kids, up to more challenging like Zelda Twilight Princess.

To take advantage of the new MotionPlus technology, Nintendo has also released a brand new updated version of Wii Sports, called Wii Sports Resort. Nintendo is keeping things fresh by continuing its innovation and coming up with new ways to use the Wii. Another newly released item is the Wii MotionPlus, an accessory that attaches to the Wii controller and makes it more sensitive to every movement.

For anyone who is still thinking about buying a Nintendo Wii console, the new Wii Fit bundle could be perfect. It includes everything you need including the console, and is packaged with the Sports Resort game and the MotionPlus. You can also choose Wii bundles with plenty of other combinations, packaging the console with sports games, kids games, even games like Mario Kart for Wii.

Last but not least, there are hundreds of great downloadable games available through on the Wii Channel. If you have wireless set up at home, you can download games using Wii points, games like Super Mario and Donkey Kong from old arcade games, plus new games developed just for Wii like My Life As A King and Defend Your Castle. More than ever Nintendo is making the Wii console reach a whole new level, still fun for people of any age or experience, and it will be that way for a long time to come!

Wii Console Is Your Best Game Console

April 30, 2009 · Posted in Wii Bundle, Wii Deals, Wii Games, wii console · Comment

Did you know that even with the recession, the Wii console is still selling fast? Units are being boosted by new items available with the Wii: The Wii Fit, with the balance board, is a huge hit; Wii games like Raving Rabbids, Da Blob, Wii Music are big hits with the whole family, and even some of the traditional "gamer" games like Call of Duty are now available for the Wii.

It's true that the Nintendo Wii may not have all the graphics capability, or online gaming features, that other systems like the Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 have, but for the amount of family friendly fun, the Wii console still has the best deal.

But the bottom line is, if you're still on the fence about buying a Wii console, think about it this way: A trip to the movies costs $30-60 for tickets and snacks. A Wii console can give you years of fun for just 4-5 trips to the movies. Plus, with so many great online games, free Wii game downloads, and game rental services (so you don't have to buy them until you try them), a Wii console is a really good investment in family time.

We're working on adding some listings for cheap Wii games, along with reviews, so if you want to find out what are the best selling games and where to get them cheaply, stay tuned.
