The Wii Console is Still Popular

Many serious video gamers and others are now declaring that the Nintendo Wii console system has had its best days, since there is no reason to buy one and that people have all bought already. But not so fast! The Nintendo Wii is nowhere near dead, it's just getting started, with plenty of people considering buying one.

Anyone can have a blast with the Wii. Lots of families are buying this system, since there's something for any age. For example, the Nintendo Wii Fit is a prime example, with its balance board, as it lets players practice yoga, strength training, or start a weight loss program. More games are coming out for the Wii Fit as well, such as EA Sports Active, wit more active challenges for just about any player.

There are plenty of excellent reasons to buy a Wii console. First, it's really simple to get started, plug in a few cables, and set up the remote sensor, and off you go. You can be completely new to gaming and still get it set up right out of the box. It's easy to play even for the smallest kids. Games are available from very easy like Mario Party 8, for young kids, up to more challenging like Zelda Twilight Princess.

To take advantage of the new MotionPlus technology, Nintendo has also released a brand new updated version of Wii Sports, called Wii Sports Resort. Nintendo is keeping things fresh by continuing its innovation and coming up with new ways to use the Wii. Another newly released item is the Wii MotionPlus, an accessory that attaches to the Wii controller and makes it more sensitive to every movement.

For anyone who is still thinking about buying a Nintendo Wii console, the new Wii Fit bundle could be perfect. It includes everything you need including the console, and is packaged with the Sports Resort game and the MotionPlus. You can also choose Wii bundles with plenty of other combinations, packaging the console with sports games, kids games, even games like Mario Kart for Wii.

Last but not least, there are hundreds of great downloadable games available through on the Wii Channel. If you have wireless set up at home, you can download games using Wii points, games like Super Mario and Donkey Kong from old arcade games, plus new games developed just for Wii like My Life As A King and Defend Your Castle. More than ever Nintendo is making the Wii console reach a whole new level, still fun for people of any age or experience, and it will be that way for a long time to come!
