Wii prices had started originally at $250, then last year Nintendo dropped the Wii console price to $199 to generate sales. Now, Nintendo has just released a Wii bundle which comes in either white or black, and includes a controller, nunchuk, but also the Wii MotionPlus controller accessory. The MotionPlus is a $20 accessory that helps fine tune the controller's motion, so players can get a smoother action during play. This newer bundle is $199 at big retailers.
A few months ago Nintendo offered the Wii console for $149 to get rid of inventory of the single consoles, before offering the new bundle, which is the latest Wii Console deal which includes the extras. But keep in mind that this system, is the exact same Wii controller, with the same Internet access and Wii Ware offerings, including access to Netflix on the Wii, that any and all Wii controllers have.
